Good day! My granddaughter ice skated in the local "Nutcracker on Ice" performance last Christmas. So, I decided to give her interactive birthday card a Nutcracker theme using the stamp set. I un-Christmas-ed it with colors she prefers. The Sugarplum Fairies dance and twirl around the Nutcracker. So cute! I really love tailoring cards to the recipients but it takes quite a bit of time. I'm very grateful for the craft supplies I've acquired through the years. I haven't had to buy additional supplies for quite some time now. That is probably also due to my lack of time to make cards. Welcome back! My grandson's 10th birthday is this year and when asked what his favorite thing was he hollered "Star Wars". He's nothing if not consistent. 😀 So this year I used my previously acquired and used Star Wars clipart on another birthday card for him. I wanted to try my Lawn Fawn Flippy Flappy interactive dies for this. I used Freshly Made Sketches #373 as a starting point. I went to Etsy and purchased some lightsaber clipart for the stripes. Hopefully the style of the characters isn't too young for a ten year old. Once again, Lawn Fawn made the interactive element so easy and their YouTube videos so helpful. The only issue I had was due to putting the ground so low on the card that the flippy flappy element was almost on the edge of the panel. Live and Learn. Thanks for popping by. Have a crafty day!
